Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and we had such a fun time celebrating this year. Max is obsessed with Mickey Mouse right now, so we thought it would be appropriate for him to dress up as Mickey Mouse. The Baileys hosted a really fun Halloween party at their house the weekend before Halloween. All the kids dressed up in their costumes and played together for a few hours.

Here's our group shot of the kids this year:

Candy Corn Witch (Ella Grace), Thomas the Train Conductor (Walker), Bumble Bee (Lilly), Punkrocker (Catherine), Golfer (Tripp), Mickey Mouse (Max), Monster (Jane), Princess (Jennison)

What a cute little Bumble Bee!

Tripp, Jack and Crew all dressed as golfers. So cute!!

Walker loves Thomas the Train, so he dressed up as a conductor. Check out his "cheese" smile!

Diego and Rebecca dressed up as Shrek and Fiona. Awesome costumes!

I love these owl cupcakes that Allison made

Pumpkin Patch Rice Krispie Treats

Max initiated a little game of "ring around the rosie" with his friends.

Taking a ride in the big blue truck is always a hit with the kids!

Max absolutely loved driving!

The girls all bundled up around the fire while the kids played in the yard

Max posed in his costume with his Mickey Mouse pumpkin

A few days before Halloween we went trick or treating at Tyler's office.

Lydia, Hannah (2 of Philip's kids) and Grayson and Audrey (Nashon's kids) also went trick or treating with us.

Taking a snack break in Daddy's office

Max loves this illuminated pumpkin. It was mine and Eric's when we were kids.

On Halloween night storms were bad in the area so they postponed trick or treating in Franklin. Allison, Meg, Jess, and I decided to take the kids to the mall to trick or treat there. It was a blast! They went from store to store getting a piece of candy. I think we thought it was as much fun as they did. Max wanted to dress as an elephant that night instead of Mickey Mouse.

After trick or treating at the mall, we went to our neighbor's house for our first official trick or treating experience. He rang the doorbell, peeked in the window, and said "trick or treat" when Connie and Steve opened the door. Good thing we practiced!
