Happy Halloween from Jake!

This year Max is really into Jake, from the Disney show "Jake and the Neverland Pirates." There was no question who he would be for Halloween because the answer was obviously Jake. He watches Jake on tv every morning while eating his breakfast and we have more Jake toys than I can count.

This year we had several Halloween celebrations so he was able to wear his costume a lot, which he thought was great.

Here we are at the downtown Franklin Halloween Festival. I found a maternity witch costume so I decided it would be fun to dress up with Max. He loved the idea! This is my favorite festival of the year and there are so many fun things to do with the kids at the festival. There are tons of games, food, crafts, etc. Grandpa Tom was in town and he came with us. We met Allison and Walker there and all had fun together. Of course we had to get Ellie's donuts because they are Max's favorite and we get them almost every Saturday morning in the summer at the Farmer's Market. Our church sponsored a whole block at the festival and it was so much fun! Here Max and I are riding the train.

We also have an annual tradition of all of our friends getting together for a Halloween party. This year it was at the Hunter's house and the kids had a blast!

Max made friends with Jackson (Spiderman) and also had a blast with Walker (Woody).

Trick-or-treating at Daddy's office

Getting ready for Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood. Mom and Dad sat this pumpkin on our front porch every Halloween when Eric and I were little. I still love it!

Max loves saying, "Arghh!" just like Jake does.

The three of us had so much fun Trick-or-Treating this year! We thought Max would only want to go to a house or two, but we finally had to tell him that was enough after visiting about 10 houses in our neighborhood. The only problem was that he wanted to go inside everyone's house instead of just staying on their doorstep. He just helped himself inside several of the houses.
