Happy Thanksgiving!!

We decided to spend Thanksgiving with our family in Memphis this year and had a lovely holiday! We haven't been there in about a year, so we decided to spend the whole week in Memphis. It was so much fun and we got to see so many of our friends and family that we haven't seen in a while as we celebrated so much to be thankful for this year.

Aunt Stacy, Uncle Dale, Lilly, and Andy came to visit on Wednesday

Max thought Lilly was funny

On Wednesday night, we got together with several of our friends and their families at the Tashie house. We all had dinner and let the kids play. Reese and Lily are 9 months old and I had never met them. It was so nice to love on a little baby again and meet those sweet girls.

Ellie kept trying to give Max kisses, but he wasn't so sure about it.

Loving on Lily, Natalie's daughter

Max is obsessed with Pop and hung out with him all week. Pop loves taking him for rides on "Big Country."

Max also loves Lola, Hannah's new little 9 week old Golden Doodle. She was a feisty little thing and Max loved when she gave him kisses.

Oh, that good ol' classic toy, a bouncy horse. What kid doesn't love it?

Max loves music and loves playing the piano

He liked trying on Dede's glasses. It's his "nerdy" look.

His favorite thing all weekend was playing outside. He just wanted to walk everywhere and explore.

Dede did all the cooking

Pop was in charge of carving the turkey

Max and Charlie meeting each other for the first time. Charlie is the Fords' 5 month old Golden Doodle

Max loves his Dede!

He also thought it was fun to ride the bike around the house.

Max thinks Cate is hilarious and hung out with her a lot. He tried to copy everything she did and wanted to give her kisses.

On Friday, we took a trip to the Memphis Zoo. It was so much fun and we saw so many really cool animals, including pandas. Here are some of the photos...

Max loved watching the monkeys. They were really active and swinging everywhere.

The highlight of the day was seeing the pandas. They aren't commonly found in zoos in the US, so we felt lucky to see them. They were also very active and eating lots of bamboo. We were also able to get pretty close to them, so Max could see them well.

I think Max's favorite part of the day was visiting the petting zoo. He loved petting the horse and donkey.

Benjamin and Amelia

Max was so tired by the end of the day!
